The key idea? To transform a long-awaited moment into a spectacular memory, proving that the elegance of a historic site like Château d'Aveny can be combined with the most festive of follies.

Imagine the scene. Guests are immersed in the chic, hushed atmosphere of the Château. Conversations are flowing, glasses of champagne are sparkling, and the mood is one of elegance and solemnity. Suddenly, without warning, the first notes of a batucada sound. A powerful, tribal, intoxicating rhythm takes over the space, making the ancient walls vibrate.

Doubt is replaced by amazement when a troupe of professional dancers bursts in. It's a veritable visual explosion: the flamboyant costumes, made of sequins and glittering stones, catch the light, while the monumental headdresses, adorned with majestic feathers, sweep the air with every movement. The contrast is striking: the exuberance of Rio carnival meets the classicism of a French château. The surprise effect is total, and the faces of the guests go from astonishment to wonder.

Domaine d'Aveny is located in Dampsmesnil (27630), an inter-commune of Vexin-sur-Epte, 1 hour from the gates of Paris (A15 or A13), on the border with Val-d'Oise, in the Vexin region, right on the edge of the Vexin National Park, and close to the tourist town of Giverny.

The Domaine is a 20-minute drive from the Vernon-Giverny train station.

Château d'Aveny inauguration: a prestigious event in the heart of Normandy (Vexin)

The inauguration of Château d'Aveny took place on Thursday June 2, 2022, marking a milestone in the history of this prestigious venue. Taken over in 2021 by the Domaines & événements group Nicolas Tommasini and Adélaïde Chambriardthe château underwent a remarkable renovation during the winter of 2021-2022. Over 350 guests, including local businesses, influential personalities and experts in the fields of art and gastronomy, took part in this grandiose celebration.

Dazzling transformations at Château d'Aveny

Château d'Aveny has undergone a spectacular transformation to offer visitors a unique experience. The Grande Galerie, a sumptuous 220m² reception room, has been completely renovated with modern innovations such as a radiant-heated ceiling, soft lighting, herringbone parquet flooring, double-glazed windows for acoustic and thermal insulation, and bespoke DJ booth furniture. The chic and refined decor, with cream tones, elegant gilding and numerous mirrors, accentuates the luxurious ambience of the venue.

The renovations don't stop there. The grand "Lobby" hall, the Orangerie, and iconic salons such as the Salon des Oiseaux and the Salon des Singes have been meticulously restored. A brand-new salon, the Salon des Panthères, has also been created, offering guests a sophisticated setting for their events.

Outdoor spaces and top-of-the-range accommodation

The magnificent grounds of Château d'Aveny now offer outdoor spaces perfect for outdoor ceremonies, cocktail parties and brunches. With ample sleeping capacity, the château is the ideal choice for large-scale events, combining comfort and elegance.

The inauguration attracted renowned personalities such as Taïg Khris, world champion roller-skater, famous for his daring leap from the Eiffel Tower, and Guillaume Piechaud, sculptor-designer renowned for his stainless steel creations exhibited at Dior. The Miss Eure-et-Loir committee, the Meilleur Pâtissier de France and the famous Alcazar restaurant in Saint-Germain-des-Prés also honored the event with their presence, contributing to its memorable success.
